Many people are very upset about the tickets received for the parade. Here we are giving you all the information related to it.
There are two ways you can observe Republic Day celebrations. The first is through special invitation ie pass and the second through ticket. To watch the Republic Day parade, you can buy tickets from various places in New Delhi.

- 3. Pragati Maidan (Gate No.1 located on Bhairo Road)
- 4. Jantar Mantar (Main Gate)
- 5. Shastri Bhavan (Near Gate 3)
- 6. Jamnagar House (opposite India Gate)
- 7. Red Fort (August 15 inside the park and in front of the Jain temple)
- 8. Reception Office of Parliament House has a special counter for MPs
Explain that to buy a parade ticket, you will have to bring an Aadhaar card, voter ID card or government-issued ID card with you. If you do not carry an identity card with you, you will not be able to get a ticket. Talk about the ticket rate, then Rs 500 for reserved seats and Rs 100 and 20 for unreserved seats. Ticket counters open daily from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Apart from these counters, a ticket counter will be open from 23rd to 25th January 2020 at Sena Bhavan from 7 pm.
If you want to see ‘Beating the Retreat’ in addition to the Republic Day Parade, you can buy tickets from these counters. ‘Beating the Retreat’ takes place three days after Republic Day, on January 29, in which bands from the Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy march with traditional tunes. Tickets for ‘Beating the Retreat’ can be purchased one day before the event i.e. until January 28. Tickets cost Rs 50 and Rs 20 for ‘Beating the Retreat’.
